Torrington Food Bank Appeal

Some time ago we asked for no more baked beans as we had such a good stock, but we now find we are very low on them, along with biscuits, tinned veg, sugar and coffee. We are of course very grateful for anything you feel able to donate, but thought it might be helpful to mention what we are most in need of at the present time.
Opening times: 10am until 12pm. Every Tuesday at the Baptist Church, New Street and every Saturday at the Castle Hill Building (over the Library).
Service available to Great Torrington residents and surrounding parishes. We provide a basic food parcel consisting of tinned or dried food for people who need emergency help due to sickness, homelessness, benefit cuts or delays, or domestic violence for example.
Please alert us of those in need and spread the word or support us by making a donation of tins or packets (subject to opening times) at the Parish Church, Methodist Church, Co-op or Tourist Information Centre in Castle Hill, or during Food Bank opening times.
